Blue Ball ABC Game (ages 3-5)
This game is a fun, interactive way for young children to learn the alphabet, become accustomed to the sounds of the letters, and become familiar with numbers. - Assemble players in a circle - First player throws the ball to anyone in the group - Player who catches ball has to say the letter under their right thumb - Player throws the ball to another player, and the process is repeated - Game is over when all the players have had at least one turn |
Green Ball Reading Game (ages 6-8)
This game is a fun, interactive way for young readers to practice their reading skills, work on their rhyming, and incorporate words into sentences. - Assemble players in a circle - First player throws the ball to anyone in the group - Player who catches ball has to read the word under their right thumb, say a rhyming word, and use the word in a sentence - Player throws the ball to another player, and the process is repeated - Game is over when all the players have had at least one turn |
ABC Board Game (ages 6-8)
This game is a fun, interactive way for young readers to practice their reading skills, work on their rhyming, learn how to provide synonyms and antonyms for given words, and incorporate words into sentences. - Player 1 rolls die - Follow what is says on the spot landed on - “S” spots- draw an “S” card, read the word, say a word that means the same, and use the word in a sentence - “O” spots- draw an “O” card, read the word, say a word that means the opposite, and use the word in a sentence - “R” spots- draw an “R” card, read the word, say a rhyming word, and use the word in a sentence - Repeat for all players - Game continues until one or all players reach the finish line |
